Madonna banned from US theatre Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas

MUMBAI: Material girl Madonna is in news again. This time she has been banned from the theatre for ignoring the request of not texting at the premiere of Steve McQueen’s drama ‘12 Years A Slave’ at the New York Film Festival. As per reports, Texas based Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas has decided to ban her.

Alamo founder and CEO Tim League tweeted, “Until she apologizes to movie fans, Madonna is banned from watching movies @drafthouse.” The tweet also contained a link of a story which reported that Madonna lashed out after a fellow audience asked her to stop texting during the screening.

Later, League responds to one of the tweets that asked him to prove his point that Madonna was testing during the film. So he tweets back, “It is really just a joke, but I like bringing the issue to the fore.” This was followed by some tweets that directly expressed their dissatisfaction about the whole situation.

Reports confirm that sexy singer won't be allowed into his cinemas, saying now that it seems to have taken a hold; he is going to enforce it.
