MUMBAI: His song ‘Tum He Ho’, from the film Aashiqui 2 strummed the chords of our hearts and has become a love anthem for 2013. Here is a piece of good news for the fans of Mithoon Sharma. The popular composer will try and recreate the magic of Aashiqui 2 in the upcoming flick Yariyaan. The film is directed by Divya Khosla Kumar, wife of T-Series head honcho, Bhushan Kumar and is slated to release on 10 January 2014.

We asked our featured friend, the little birdie to dig out more information on the news. And fortunately, he brought us some updates. Our featured friend confirmed, “Mithoon will be composing three tracks for upcoming movie Yaariyan. One is the title track, the other is the female version and the third is the love theme.”

The little birdie further informed us, “Mithoon was approached by Bhushan Kumar at the very last minute and the composer agreed to do three tracks for the film. The music of the film will be tentatively releasing on the 1 November.”

The film is said to be a youth based musical, which will revolve around the carefree years of college life and friendship. Also, the venture will have a fresh cast with TV star Himanshu Kohli, Serah Singh, popular model Nicole Faria and many others.

When it comes to his upcoming projects, Mithoon’s plate is full. Apart from Yaariyaan, the composer has Traffic, ‘Bhaag Johnny’, ‘Shab’, and ‘Hate Story 2?.
