T-Series negotiates with Saavn over terminated deal

MUMBAI:  Music giant T-series who terminated its content deal with digital distributor South Asian Audio Visual Network (Saavn) is negotiating an amiable solution to the deadlock. The label, who claimed that the agreement was dropped due to breach in the contract clause, is in process to come-up with a solution to persist their deal. Confirming the news with Radioandmusic.com, T-Series president Neeraj Kalyan said, “Although the agreement deal was terminated we are negotiating an amiable solution to the deadlock.”

Radio Lions shortlists two Indian entries

MUMBAI: The 59th Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has announced its shortlists for Radio Lions with two Indian entries making the cut. Leo Burnett’s ‘Punishment’ for Strand Book Stall and McCann Worldgroup India’s ‘Delay’ for Lasky Herbal have been shortlisted. The work on 'Delay' campaign is credited to the chief creative officer Prasoon Joshi, executive creative director Ashish Chakravarty, creative directors Nakul Sharma and Tirtha Ghosh, scriptwriter Gunjan Gaba, account supervisor Shourabh Verma, and producer and director Akash Gupta.
