MUMBAI: The Bhatt camp is known for hit numbers and impeccable soundtracks in the films they make. Vikram Bhatt’s latest upcoming thriller flick, ‘Love Games’ from the Vishesh Films’ stable was expected to offer a similar bonanza of hummable tunes. Unfortunately, the opening song of the film, released today, comes loaded with a little bit of disappointment.

In the first place, the song, ‘Awargi’ sounds tuneful yet shapeless. As we go on listening to the song, there comes a part when a sense of déjà vu hits you. Our conclusion is that the song is just another random romantic number, composed by Sangeet-Siddharth to fill the void of the movie album.

Coming to the lyrics of the song, Kausal Munir has played safe with the words. There is no line in the song that can mark itself out for posterity.

However, singers Sangeet Haldipur and Rasika Shekhar enter as saviors with their ace voices. Sadly, the voices the music does not them the able company they deserve.

Overall, we think the song does not have enough substance to sustain itself. Even the steaming scenes in the video might not be able to generate a fine publicity to this monotonous melody.
