Jauz announces release of new single 'Super Fly'

MUMBAI: Arriving on the same weekend he’ll play eagerly anticipated sets at Reading and Leeds, SW4 Festival, and Creamfields, American DJ and producer Jauz has unveiled his brand-new track, Super Fly.

Taken from his upcoming ‘The Wise and The Wicked’ album, a mighty 23-track showcase of the Shark Squad head honcho’s diverse production skills, ‘Super Fly’ is a nod to 666’s 2007 original Supa Dupa Fly, which has since been remixed by Dutch big-room duo, W&W, and heavily supported by Marshmello in his live sets.

A rumbling production laced with Jauz (aka Sam Vogel)’s typically trap-influenced tones, ‘Super Fly’ follows the Californian’s recent performance at Tomorrowland - where he performed alongside legendary producer Tiesto on the Musical Freedom stage.

Having carved a reputation as one of dance music’s most exciting and innovative acts, Jauz has elevated himself to the summit of the bass sub-genre in recent years. His top tier productions have caught the eye of artist heavyweights including Skrillex and Diplo, with the latter signing his anthem ‘Feel The Volume’ to his esteemed ‘Mad Decent’ label in 2014, surging over 12 million Spotify streams in the process.

A German duo formed of Thomas Detert and Mike Griesheimer in 1997, 666 are one of many acts to collaborate with Jauz on the new ‘The Wise and The Wicked’ album, with the bass maestro also teaming up with the likes of Kiiara, Adventure Club, Example, and ‘Pardon My French’ star, DJ Snake, across the record.

Serving as a follow-up to 2017’s ‘Off The Deep End Volume One’ EP, ‘Super Fly’ - a firm fan favourite in Jauz’s live sets, is out now, with ‘The Wise and The Wicked’ arriving one week later, on Friday 31st August.
