Suresh Wadkar collaborates with his student for a new ghazal album

MUMBAI: Guru Shishya Parampara is the key motive of Ajivasan, the music academy that was founded in 1932 in Srinagar by Acharya Jialal Vasant. Taking forward guru ji's legacy, Suresh Wadkar has helped Ajivasan reach new heights. From online to classroom teachings, Ajivasan has craved students in singing, dancing as well as instrumental music.

Many popular names including Rahul Vaidya has emerged from the academy. One such bright student, who happens to be a teacher in the academy, is Anant Bhardwaj. Suresh Wadkar along with his student Anant Bhardwaj has recently launched a new ghazal album "Chupke Chupke".

The lyrics of the album are penned by Guruji Acharya Jialal Vasant and all the ghazals are sung by Suresh Wadkar. It's Suresh Wadkar's student, Anant Bhardwaj who is the music director for the album. The CD has seven soul-stirring ghazals. It is now available online on the platform such as Gaana, Wynk, Saavn, iTunes among others.
