Manav Rachna's Resurrection 2K16 rocked with Palash Sen and his band Euphoria

MUMBAI: Euphoria band led by lead singer Palash Sen was at Resurrection 2K16, raising spirits and setting the stage on fire! They were at the Manav Rachna campus to entertain, but their energy and mind blowing performance gave the Fest a whole new dimension, taking it to new heights of exuberance and joy. Students jived and sang to their beats, greatly enthused by the rhythm and depth of their songs. Belting out popular numbers, Euphoria performed at the Fest’s Coke Studio Night where the  ‘music meets happiness’ mantra was amply evident throughout the Band’s power packed performance.

Quite surprisingly, and in keeping with tradition, Euphoria struck an auspicious note with the Ganesha stotra at the start of the programme. Thereafter, what followed was a medley of songs-both old and new, as students sang along with the Band. Whether it was ‘Rok Sako Toh Rok Lo’ to ‘Bhula Sa, Bhula Tumhe’, ‘Maeri’ or even one of their first songs ‘Dhoom Pichuck’, Euphoria unleashed the kind of energy that kept the crowd asking for more. The Band also dedicated songs to our soldiers who protect the borders of our country. What’s more, they also churned out some popular Bollywood hits, most notably, ‘Dil Se Re’, ‘Pehla Nasha’, ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, and the like to cater to diverse musical tastes.  Band Leader Palash Sen claimed that it was Euphoria’s long cherished dream of playing at Manav Rachna, having wowed audiences all over the country and the world.

Euphoria, which is going to complete 18 years of its singing journey on 10 October, created music that well and truly touched the souls of its audience, making Resurrection 2K16 a memorable milestone in Manav Rachna’s social annals.
