Culture Machine releases 'Don't Be Evil' - A grim take on farmer suicides

MUMBAI: 'Don’t be Evil'- a short film produced by Culture Machine for Video Daddy, popular YouTube channel known for its social experiments, released today. The heart wrenching video on the state of Indian farmers depicts the huge gap between them and the rest of the country. The film shows two very contrasting couples dining at the same table with one pair completely oblivious to the other. While the rich, urban couple continue to eat and drink merrily, the farmer and his wife ironically get no access to food and water despite asking for it. Frustrated by lack of resources and his voice not being heard, the farmer commits suicide while the couple continue to chatter away.

'Don’t be Evil' is an attempt from Video Daddy and Culture Machine to create awareness about the wastage of resources by urban folk while our farmers and their families continue to struggle to get even one meal a day. Bon appétit.

The video released on Video Daddy, displays the daunting gap between the haves and have-nots. Check the link -
