MUMBAI: Raghu Dixit and Gibson Brands have come together to bring their fans a never seen before tutorial video series by the man himself - Raghu Dixit.

Each video will see Raghu break down one of his popular tracks and explain his unique approach to guitar playing and songwriting.

‘The Raghu Dixit Gibson Sessions’ tutorial series is Raghu’s way of reaching out to fans and music enthusiasts who have been part of his musical journey.

Raghu plays his trusted Gibson Songwriter Deluxe Studio in these videos, the same guitar that’s travelled the world with him – from his performance for the Queen of England to gigs across India and the globe.

The Raghu Dixit Gibson Sessions tutorial series launches on the 12th of September with, arguably Raghu’s most popular track, ‘Hey Bhagwan’. This video and the rest of the web series will be hosted on Gibson’s India YouTube page.

Talking about the tutorial series Dixit said, “I've always wanted to do this, and over the years, we have got a lot of requests from fans who wanted us to teach them how to play our songs, and I am thrilled that I got the chance to do this with the amazing folks at Gibson. When I learnt how to play the guitar, I had no one to teach me and so I learnt everything I know on the guitar by myself. I’m really happy to be able to put these videos out so people starting out and wanting to learn my songs get the guidance they want as they discover my music and the guitar itself. Since I did not learn music formally, these instruction videos are very different from the conventional instruction videos you see. I really hope these videos help my fans and anyone who picks up the guitar realizes what a joy it is to play this beautiful instrument."
