Sound wiz Pookutty to host Master Class Series at IFFI 2010

MUMBAI: Oscar winning Sound Engineer Resul Pookutty will host a Master Class Series at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2010 upcoming in Goa, as part of the plans to enrich the offerings at the festival that will play out till the 2nd of December. Luxury bus service uses Radio Indigo and Chennai Live for campaign

BANGALORE: Blue Hill Pvt. Ltd., the promoter of the �Nilgiris Supermarket Chain', announced a super premium luxury inter-city bus service – Luxuria. The group plans to invest Rs. 300 million for 12 buses and infrastructure- almost RS.20 million per Dilip Chhabria designed bus by March 2011 and Rs.4.5 billion over the next seven years for 250 buses.

Radio One B'lore turns 4, clocks its peak monthly revenue at Rs 75 lakh

Dhamaal 24 revenues up 58% in Q2 FY10-11

MUMBAI: With all ten stations of the radio network operational, Dhamaal 24 has captured strong hold of the market in its respective regions. It posted revenue of Rs. 18.29 Million for the quarter ended September 30, 2010 as against Rs. 12.16 million in the corresponding period last fiscal, a rise of 50 %. The Half yearly revenue has grown from Rs. 18.59 Million for the period ended September 30, 09 to Rs. 29.32 Million for the Half year ended September 30, 10; a growth of 58 % showing an upward curve for the current fiscal .

Lalli denies shift reports; AIR FM Gold to remain on 106.4 MHz

MUMBAI: Prasar Bharati has denied any move to change the frequency of the popular All India Radio FM Gold from 106.4 to 100.1 MHz. Its CEO B S Lalli has told RadioAndMusic.com that he had blocked any move to change the frequency, when it was brought to his notice on 31 October, B B Nagpal reports from New Delhi.
