Shubha Mudgal is back with music fest 'Baajaa Gaajaa'

MUMBAI: Renowned classical vocalist Shubha Mudgal is back with the fourth edition of her annual music festival �Baajaa Gaajaa'. Zakir Hussain to release Ravi Chary's fusion album in collaboration with 17 stalwarts

MUMBAI: Tabla legend Zakir Hussain will release acclaimed sitar player Ravi Chary's debut world musical album, on 16 January in Mumbai. 17 music stalwarts have collaborated with Chary in the making of the album. Buddy Guy to perform at Mahindra Blues Fest

MUMBAI: Chicago Blues veteran and five times Grammy award winner Buddy Guy will revisit India to perform at the second edition of the Mahindra Blues Festival 2012.  The weekend fest will be held on 11-12 February at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai. Kishore Kumar family green lights his biopic

MUMBAI: After he met the family of Kishore Kumar recently, Anurag Basu has got the green signal to roll out the biopic of the legendary singer. The film was lying in the cold storage for three months. Confirming the same Basu said, They have green lighted the film after they liked the idea of me doing the film." Last month, Basu met the singer's family - wife Leena Chandarvarkar and his two sons, singer Amit Kumar and Sumeet Kumar - to discuss the project. Titled Kishore, the film is now finally on track.

The rechristenized band will officially launch their long due self-titled album �Sky Rabbit' on 10 January under EMI Virgin Records.
