read moreMUMBAI: Mangalore will be host to two renowned western classical artists as part of the ‘Virasat 2012’ music fest to be held from 24-26 September. The artists are Latin American musician Gustavo Tavares and classical guitarist Anders Clemens Oien who have also recently performed in Gurgaon, Haryana. The three-day fest is organized by the Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth (Spic Macay) in collaboration with the Norwegian Embassy as part of the World Heritage Series.

MUMBAI: Some of the country’s top rock acts will perform in Jaipur’s first ever rock fest ‘Rockit’ to be held on 6-7 October at the city's open-air theatre of Ravindra Manch. The line-up includes top acts like Parikrama, Pentagram, Menwhopause, Skhabang, Barefaced Liar and Bhayanak Maut, who will be joined by Jaipur’s own- Nightwings 3 and Wintergate. Speaking to Radioandmusic.com, Pentagram singer Vishal Dadlani said that the band expected a fun festival in a city well versed with rock music.

MUMBAI: Marking his second visit to the country, global music sensation Enrique Iglesias has confirmed his three city tour in October this year. The singer will venture on a three city tour with performances on 17 October in Pune Amanora Park, 19 October in Delhi Gurgaon HUDA Grounds and 21 October in Bangalore. The tour is produced by Only Much Louder (OML), which also organizes acclaimed music festivals like Bacardi NH7 Weekender and Eristoff Invasion.

Her first single, titled 'Drama Queen' (ArtistAloud.com) is set to be digitally launched on 1 October. The club track will be supported by a video and DVD launch.
