MUMBAI: After the stupendous success of the first season of 'The Voice India', &TV is all set to unveil another musical sensation in the nation with its first kid's reality –'The Voice India Kids'. This edition will see participants from across the country in the age group of 6 - 14 years prove their singing talent throughout blinds, battles and live. Taking on the mantle of mentoring these aspiring young singers are - ace music composer – singer Shekhar Ravjiani; the most charming and effervescent singer Shaan and the versatile singer and performer Neeti Mohan. From music being just a hobby to creating chartbusters for Bollywood, Shekhar Ravjiani and the ‘Jiya Jiya Re’ girl - Neeti Mohan were in the capital city to meet their fans and talk about their newest role with kids. ‘The Voice India Kids’ is all set to take the nation by storm starting 23 July 2016 every Saturday - Sunday at 9:00 PM only on &TV.

‘The Voice India Kids’ is a reality TV singing competition, based on the concept of finding diverse vocal talent contested by children, who are selected from public auditions. Staying true to the popular international format – of selecting talent based solely on their voice, ‘The Voice India Kids’ remains similar to that of ‘The Voice India’. It will be interesting to watch these little wonders, however little in size, manage to make heads turn with the power of their voice. Popular actor Jay Bhanushali and singer-comedian Sugandha Mishra will be seen taking as hosts of ‘The Voice India Kids’ on &TV.

The composer-singer Shekhar Ravjiani is simple, soft spoken and very popular with kids. He has composed music for films like ‘Sultan’, ‘Fan’, ‘Chennai Express’, ‘Student Of The Year’, ‘The Dirty Picture’ to name a few. Talking about ‘The Voice India Kids’, coach, Shekhar Ravjiani said, "I've always enjoyed being a mentor when it comes to children and was happy that I could work around my schedule to make myself available to judge ‘The Voice India Kids’. It's always good to be a part of a show like ‘The Voice India Kids’ that plays a role in unearthing the sheer musical talent that the children of our country possess. Looking forward to the experience.”

Neeti Mohan who started her career as a reality show contestant has many hit songs to her credit like ‘Ishq Wala Love’, ‘Jiya Re’, ‘Saadi Galli Aaja’, ‘Kashmir Main Tu Kanyakumari’. Speaking about her visit to Delhi and association with ‘The Voice India Kids’, Neeti Mohan said, “Delhi is my hometown but today I am here as a coach of this phenomenal global format – ‘The Voice India Kids’. Delhi has always produced some of the most powerful singers in the past and this time too we have some really exceptional talent representing the city. I am just very thrilled to be mentoring such young talent on ‘The Voice India Kids’. This is an impressionable age and I believe that with right guidance, the kids will be able to hone their skills and pursue their singing talent further.”
