MUMBAI: French ElectRaw Power band- Success had nothing but praise for India while touring the country. The four-piece recently wrapped up its Asian tour, which started in Kathmandu earlier this month. Following that, they were in the country and performed at a number of venues, including IndiEarth in Chennai and the New Wave Music Festival in Goa.
Speaking about their India tour, the band's lead vocalist- Mr Eleganz said, "Our India tour has been amazing so far. We love the country. We were in Mumbai last year, and are so happy to be back." He revealed that the band is working on a new album, which will be launched in March 2015. "This will be our second album. Previously we released two EPs and two LPs, and in 2012 we put out our debut album 'Social Media Junkies', he said. Talking about the band's upcoming album, Mr Eleganz stated that it would have brand new tracks. "The new one is called 'Love and Hate'. It is more rock and it will be a little darker than the previous one," he added.
After the album launch, Success might embark on a world tour to promote the release, starting with France. Receiving an exceptional response from the audience at the New Wave Music Fest, he stated that the band hopes to be back next year or in 2016, if it is possible.
Formed seven years ago, Success consists of four members- Mister Eleganz (lead vocals), Youl Reicher (guitarist and backing vocals), Jo (percussionist and vocals) and Dan (drums and computer). They have so far played over 300 concerts and consider themselves more of a live band.
