Mosko plans to release music video for 'Dance Dance Revolution' soon

MUMBAI: After a year of experimenting with live gigs, Kavya Trehan, from New Delhi-based Mosko said that the band will soon be releasing music videos for two of their tracks. The singer/ songwriter, as she calls herself, revealed that one of the tracks has only been performed live, and the band is yet to decide which the second video will be.

“The first music video that we are looking at releasing will be for our track ‘Dance Dance Revolution’”, said Trehan. Although there is no concrete plan for when the video will be released, they are looking to put it out sometime this year.

Speaking about the upcoming video, Trehan said, “We want to make it typography; like an animated video to keep up with the trans-dance feel of the song.” While plans for the first video have been more or less chalked out, the quartet has not yet picked out the second track which will get a music video. However, she did say that the band has plans to start recording new material later in April.

Having performed in almost all major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore, she explained there is a stark difference between Mumbai and Delhi. “Delhi is always a homely place, while performing in Mumbai has always been high on energy and very vibrant,” she said.

When asked which artists she would like to work with, Trehan said she would love to work with Grain from Midival Punditz, and added that Nh7 would “definitely top the list” of music festivals she would like to perform at.
