Manoj Muntashir, Atif Aslam and Amaal Malik join hands for 'Zindagi Aa Raha Hoon Main'

MUMBAI:  Brimmed with enthusiasm and positivity is the new single 'Zindagi Aa Raha Hoon Main' which is crooned by Atif Aslam, composed by Amaal Mallik and penned by Manoj Muntashir. The track, produced by T – Series, has already surpassed one million views on YouTube since being released on 8 May.

"'Zindigi Aa Raha Hoon Main' was Tiger Shroff's idea, to thank his fans for the support they have rendered to him. He went to Bhushanji and narrated the idea to him and he agreed. The next day, Bhushanji called Amaal and me, and told us about the idea. The one line narration by him was, "How positive can you be about life," and I immediately came up with the line 'Zindagi Aa Raha Hoon Main'. He loved it and we started working on the single," revealed the 'Galliyan' lyricist. Muntashir revealed he and Malik then sat in one quiet corner of T- Series and worked on the song, which was ready in 24 hours. For this track, Muntashir also thanked Mallik for a great composition.

Muntashir has also received great responses for his song 'Khuda Bhi' from the film 'Ek Paheli Leela' and the immediate feeling that comes to his mind is thankfulness to the audiences and Bhushan Kumar. "The type of lyrics I write is appreciated by the audiences; even 'Galliyan' for that matter was loved by everyone. This is my peculiar style of writing. It took me 15 years to get someone like Bhushan Kumar who believed in my talents more than I did, so I am extremely grateful," he exalted.

When Muntashir came to Mumbai, he had nothing with him, apart from his talent. Spending his early days on the footpaths of Andheri, the lyricist revealed that it was difficult for him to maintain positivity. There were times, he thought of going back to his home town, but every time those thoughts would come up, he would convince himself to hold on a little while longer. "The day you feel hopeless is the day when suddenly God will have his plans to surprise you," Muntashir added.

According to him the best social service he can do is motivate someone who is in despair. For him, Mumbai is a place where if you are honest, it will not allow anyone to go empty handed.
Muntashir was recently nominated for the IIFA Awards for his song 'Galliyan' from the film 'Ek Villain'.
