Lollapalooza reveals 2015 line-up for its South American festivals

MUMBAI: The internationally acclaimed Lollapalooza music festival has just announced details for its South American locations, Chile, Brasil, and Argentina, which will take place in March 2015.

The Lollapalooza Chile line-up includes Jack White, Kings of Leon, Calvin Harris, Skrillex, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Foster The People who will headline. Kasabian, Interpol, Bastille, NOFX, Major Lazer, St. Vincent, Jorge González, Fernando Milagros and Astro, are also performing. Lollapalooza Chile will take place in Santiago from 14 to 15 March at Parque O'Higgins.

The Lollapalooza Argentina includes Jack White, Pharrell Williams, Calvin Harris, Skrillex, Robert Plant and the Sensation Space Shifters, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Foster The People who will headline. Kasabian, Bastille, Alt-J, Interpol, Major Lazer, St. Vincent, Nicky Romero, Pedro Aznar, Zero Kill will also perform. Lollapalooza Argentina takes place in Buenos Aires from March 21 to 22 in Hipódromo de San Isidro.

The Lollapalooza Brasil will include Jack White, Pharrell Williams, Calvin Harris, Skrillex, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Foster The People who will headline. Kasabian, Bastille, Alt-J, Interpol, Major Lazer, St. Vincent, Marina and the Diamonds, Banda do Mar will also perform. Lollapalooza Brasil takes place in S?o Paulo from March 28 to 29 in Autódromo de Interlagos.

The original Lollapalooza festival in Chicago is scheduled to commence from 31 July to 2 August 2015. And then, Lollapalooza is heading to Europe for its first ever European fest: Lollapalooza Berlin.

Lollapalooza Co-Founder Perry Farrell previously said, "I am extremely excited to bring Lollapalooza across the pond to Europe. Berlin’s energy, vibrant art, fashion and music scenes are a mirror reflection of what Lollapalooza is all about and I cannot wait to share in this cultural exchange."
