Lata Mangeshkar and Neil remember Mukesh on 39th death anniversary

MUMBAI: On the 39th death anniversary of legendary singer Mukesh, his grandson Neil Nitin Mukesh and Melody Queen Lata Mangeshkar on 27 August remembered the late singer.

Neil said he was remembering his grandfather on the sets of the upcoming film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. The ‘Johnny Gaddaar’ star also tweeted a famous line from the 1970 movie ‘Mera Naam Joker’.

Mangeshkar, who collaborated with Mukesh for many songs, tweeted that today is Mukesh bhaiya's 39th death anniversary. He passed away following a heart attack during their show in Detroit. She termed that as a “terrible time.”

She further added that all were deeply saddened after his death.

The 85-year-old also shared a link of the song ‘Jaane kahan gaye woh din’ from the film ‘Mera Naam Joker’.

Mukesh Chand Mathur, better known as Mukesh, was famous as being the voice of legendary actor Raj Kapoor.
