Hardwell attempting to set Guinness World Record with Mumbai concert

MUMBAI: Come December 2015, Dutch DJ Hardwell will attempt to set a Guinness world record while trying to make a difference in the world. The ‘Call Me a Spaceman’ hitmaker, on 2 July, announced that along with his team, Ana Agency and his charitable organisation- United We Are Foundation, he will host a one of a kind performance in Mumbai.

The world’s number one DJ made the announcement through social media. Scheduled to be held on 13 December, the event will be a free entry concert with fans having only to register to gain inside access. With an aim to bring in 100,000 fans, Hardwell hopes to set the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest guest list event through this concert.

The word is out! I am super proud to announce my very own foundation: 'United We Are'! In December I'll host the 'World'...

Additionally, the 27-year old DJ/music producer will not be taking away a fee from the performance, with funds from the event going towards a program that will ensure education for children in India.

Should the event pull through successfully, Hardwell’s concert will become one of the largest events the country has seen. It will also put him on par with EDM duo act- Dada Life, who set the Guinness World Record in 2013 for largest pillow fight.
