Ankit Tiwari to come up with a single soon

MUMBAI: Composing chartbusters like 'Katra' from the film 'Creature' and 'Tu Hai Ki Nahi' from 'Roy' earlier in 2015, the year began on a high note of Ankit Tiwari. The singer recently came back from a US tour, along with Akriti Kakar and Shilpa Rao. According to Tiwari, 2015 has been full of success and he cannot thank his fans enough for the kind of love that they have shown him.

Apart from his exciting Bollywood projects in the pipeline, he also intends to come up with a single later this year. "Yes I have been working on a single and it will be released under a music label. The track is going to be a romantic one as my listeners have always loved my songs in this genre," he revealed.  Tiwari, however, remained tight lipped on the release of the single as he is busy with a lot of other Bollywood projects. He also revealed that he will also make more singles in future.

It has been hardly a week that the singer returned from the US tour, for which most of his shows were sold out, and is delighted with the kind of responses he garnered from listeners. Tiwari revealed that he was not sure of the kind of reception he would get. "When I boarded the flight, I somehow got a good feeling which is very important for an artist. The moment I got off at Dallas, fans waited for me at the airport and I was half asleep but the moment I saw people waiting for me, I saw a ray of hope. Not that I did not expect it, but I was anxious as it was my first tour outside India. In 2014, I was in US for the IIFA and now I have my own US tour and I could not ask for more," he stated. He also said that in July 2015 he will tour UK, Canada and Holland.

Tiwari recently recorded the song 'Mat Ja Re' for the film 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns'. The music for the same is composed by Krsna Solo and the lyrics are penned by Raj Shekhar. The brief that was given to him was to leave his usual style of singing and add a desi touch to the song.
