After 'Kick' Salman Khan sings for 'Hero'

MUMBAI: Celebrities singing for their own flicks has become the latest trend in Bollywood. Salman Khan, who is known for setting trends, has once again croon a Bollywood track, and this time it is for his home production ‘Hero’.

As per the report in Times of India, the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ star was busy watching the first cut of Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty starrer ‘Hero’, when he announced his wish to sing for the film. The cast and crew assumed it would happen in a couple of days, but Khan surprised them all. He moved out of the screening immediately, only to land in a recording studio.

Since the screening took place late in the night, studios had already pulled down their shutters. But, when Khan wants to make something happen, no one can stop him. Which is why, one studio owner was asked to wake up and accommodate Khan and his team.

The recording of ‘Main Hoon Hero Tera’ went on for a good five hours, and the team is said to have vacated the studio only after breakfast.

At the end of it, the ‘Dabangg’ actor was happy with the recording, and at present the track is his favourite song from ‘Hero’. ‘Main Hoon Hero Tera’ has been composed by rising Bollywood music composer Amaal Malik.

Earlier this year, Khan sang the hit song ‘Hangover’ from the film ‘Kick’

‘Hero’ will release on 25 August, 2015.
