MUMBAI: The Yellow Diary, an emerging Indian rock band known for their soulful songs and their unique sound blends indie, rock, and folk elements, captivated audiences with emotional resonance; won hearts at Vh1 Supersonic festival 2024.

Performing on songs like ‘Roz Roz’, ‘Mann’, Mumbai-based musical quintet The Yellow Diary has been winning hearts for nearly a decade now with its soulful originals, band members Himonshu Parikh, Rajan Batra, Harshvardhan Gadhvi, Sahil Shah and Stuart DaCosta got in a chat with Radioandmusic where they got candid.

“Journey has been super exciting and we feel like situations have panned out better than we have anticipated them to be. We were just a bunch of guys who wanted to make music and when we put it out people started liking. They wanted to listen to us play. We have been carrying the same vibe and emotion through the years. We express for ourselves, that keeps us glued,” expressed the band.

The band has one message for their fans. “Listen to whatever you like, there are so many artists out there doing their own thing. It’s important to find the music you like and not really care what other people like or say,” added The Yellow Diary.
