MUMBAI: Singer Pawni Pandey who seems to have struck a perfect balance between film songs and independent music, is all set to release her first single of the year called 'Katra Katra'. The singer, who has chartbusters like Laila Main Laila, Sweety Tera Drama and Akdi Pakdi under her belt, is gearing up for the release of the single that is slated to drop on 1st February. The track has been composed by Abhilekh Lal while Pawni has penned and sung the fun, groovy track. Katra Katra is set to release under their label Blue Karma Music.

The track celebrates love and life and is bound to strike a chord with the listeners for its music coupled with Pawni's inimitable vocals. Commenting on the track, Pawni says, "As a film playback singer & an indie artist, I keep trying to create something new that is indie but with a filmy touch to it as my roots lie in film music.
