Vishal Mishra marks his Telugu debut with Paatashaala, a melodious track, from Yuvarathnaa

MUMBAI: Vishal Mishra started his music career when he appeared on a music reality show. Guided by Lalit Pandit of music duo Jatin-Lalit fame in the initial days of his musical journey, he worked his way up and emerged as one of the most credible and talented musicians of the industry. Having marked his debut as a composer with the 2016 Tamil film, Devi, the versatile musician has belted chartbusters in Veere Di Wedding, Race 3 and Kabir Singh, among others.

And now, he has added a new feather to his hat. Early today, the makers of Yuvarathnaa unveiled their fourth song from the film titled Paatashaala. This song marks Vishal Mishra’s debut in the Telugu music industry. He has also lent his vocals to the Hindi version of the song. Paatashaala has been composed by Thaman with lyrics penned by Kalyan Chakravarthy.

Paatashaala marks Vishal Mishra's first collaboration with Thaman, an eminent music composer who has given some of the biggest Telugu hits over the years. The biggest highlight of the track is the coming together of two powerhouse performers who have redefined contemporary film music.

No sooner than Vishal Mishra took to social media to share the song than love began pouring in from his fans from all corners of the country. While many have complimented him saying that his voice perfectly suits the melodious track, others have hailed him for conveying the element of nostalgia in the song to the T.

Sharing his excitement, Vishal Mishra says, “When Paatashaala came my way, I was thrilled. It was an enriching experience collaborating with Thaman. He is a musician par excellence. It has a lovely melody which reminds one of their school and college days. It was a new language but we jammed and I got familiar with it. I am excited to know how my Telugu fans react to it."
