Jonita Gandhi says Tony Kakkar is 'fun' to work with

MUMBAI: Singer Jonita Gandhi is a mentor in an Indian kids singing reality show on StarPlus “Taare Zameen Par” along with Tony Kakkar. The show airs 6 days a week, so they spent a lot of time together on set each week.

“It is like being part of a huge new family”, expressed the singer. “It’s so heartwarming to see the contestants grow as individuals and as artists each week. It’s such an honour to sit beside Shankar Mahadevan - I’ve always dreamt of working with him and after recently having recorded for him for the first time for a couple of tracks on the 'Bandish Bandits' album, now sharing the judges table with him is such a blessing”.

She has also met and got to know Tony Kakkar throughout this process “it’s really great and fun working with him”. They’ve had some really fun guests on the show who each bring a different flavour of music with them, “it’s always nice to perform on the show! There’s something new every week so be sure to tune in”.
