Beetroot Juice released new independent song 'Beetroot Juice'

MUMBAI: Beetroot Juice is a 3pc outfit that was formed in 2019 with Aditya Bhagavatula on drums, and Abhin Iype and Birraj Singh on Keyboards and Synth.

The project was started with a lot of electronic and jazz/fusion influences in mind, particularly acts like Jojo Mayer's "Nerve" and musicians like Brad Mehldau and Mark Guilliana. The music of these artists was a huge inspiration, but more than that it was the concept of 'collective improvisation" meaning the song structure, and most parts are improvised and made while jamming together. Even the name, "Beetroot Juice" was made on the spot when the engineer from the studio where we were recording at (Ferris Wheel Studios) asked what he should name the project file on Ableton.

Personally, the members play and listen to a wide range of music genres.

Band members -

Aditya also plays the drums with the band - The Revisit Project,  who has already released three albums till date.
