MUMBAI: Merchant Records will witness the release of the Qawwali classic “Allah Hu” on 12th October. Music Maestros Salim Sulaiman present a special offering to their fans in the form of a mesmerising soulful tribute to the great Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan on his 72nd birth anniversary. “Allah Hu” is one of Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s most famous Qawwali and has a meditative quality because of the word ‘Allah’ - meaning God - that resonates through the hearts, minds, and souls of listeners.

Says Salim Merchant: “We’ve grown up listening to his songs and he’s a huge inspiration to the entire music fraternity across the world.We are celebrating his birthday with our own rendition of his most loved Qawwali and will release it via Merchant Records.”
