Mass appeal india & gully gang present Aavrutti's error 404

MUMBAI: Mass Appeal India and Gully Gang Entertainment announce the release of rap quartet, Aavrutti’s second single ‘Error 404’, from their upcoming debut album ‘Naya Zamana’. Having released the audio on the 1st of this month, the visually captivating music video witnesses its’ release today rounding up an impressive feat. in songwriting, lyricism and filmmaking from the teams involved.

Mentored by DIVINE, the young lyrical marksmen from Mumbai, comprising of Frenzzy, Saifan, Sammohit, and Sledge saw a successful release earlier last month with ‘Stage’; for their first single from their forthcoming album.

With a singable swagger, a distinct futuristic sound and relatable lyrics, ‘Error 404’ is reflective of how in today’s technologically pivoted times a shortcoming can be transformed into an opportunity very effortlessly, either through scrupulousness or through one’s hustle. Complete with a splitting bass-backed breakdown in the hook, ‘Error 404’ is a strong showing not only of the young quartet’s talent but of their ability to evolve.

Reflecting on the behind-the-scenes philosophical aspect of the track, Aavrutti state, “Just like every website faces trouble with 404 errors, similarly in life each one of us are faced with circumstances where we feel dejected and ensnared. Everyone has a unique way of dealing with these circumstances. In Error 404, we’ve emphasised on the personal and professional errors we face in our lives on a daily basis and how we always find a way to work around them”.

Talking about the music video that was shot in a nondescript industrial location, the music video director Joel D’souza a.k.a. JD further adds, “Right from my first listen of the track, I knew that this one is going to be an iconic release for Aavrutti and my vision for the music video was to not only compliment the lyrics, music and sentiment of the track, but to take it a notch higher to put together a unique audio/visual experience for their fans.”
