MUMBAI: A powerful singer, international recording artist-designer Christine Storm is bent towards high-energy rock and electronic dance pop. Storm recently released a spiritual album ‘7’.

“It’s my way of giving back to God”. The album “7” consists of 7 totally different styles of songs that will touch your heart and soul,” said Storm.

Storm is a Christian and the Bible references the number 7 a lot. She believes she funnels her talent from God and she has always wanted to reach the highest level of recognition for her art

“But the entertainment business can be a very negative and scary path to walk on and you can get pushed off the path at any moment. I wanted to give back to God by boldly declaring my spirituality even if I get pushed off the path and never get the recognition I seek”.

The singer believes the album can speak to anyone seeking God no matter what religion they are because it speaks to the human condition, the imperfections, the mistakes, the sacrifices that go unnoticed, the times they are in love with God and feel God’s presence and even when they are angry with God.

Storm has a very eclectic style of music.

She mentioned she never planned on writing a song or doing an art project. She only creates when she’s inspired, “I never know what will come out. That is why I write rock, pop, folk, country or almost operatic ballads, “ adds the singer.

“I am experiencing a memorable moment this week with my dance song ‘Choose To Dance With You’ (which speaks to these chaotic times we are in), was chosen to be on a dance compilation album called ‘The Lightshow’ that charted very well on Billboard and iTunes. I will receive a plaque from each of those platforms and I have received a plaque from Billboard last year for my reggae song ‘Present’ off the album”, said the Nevada-based vocalist.

“Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica” Deluxe edition which is also on my spiritual album “7”.
