Amaal Mallik on coronavirus lockdown: It's a good time for musicians to internalize and focus on new music

MUMBAI: In a recent live Instagram interview along with Namrata Kale from Radioandmusic.com, Amaal Mallik gave a glimpse into what he is currently upto amid this coronavirus lockdown.

"I am catching on to some sleep," said Amaal who was craving for this "resting time".

He has also been hooked onto watching Netflix series. "Some of my favourites are Narcos and Ozark," adds Amaal.

The singer too mentioned that he has also got back to his reading habbit.

He feels that budding musicians can make the best use of this lockdown phase.

"It's a good time for musicians to internalize and focus on new songs. For me it was a break after three years to sit down and spend some quality time into making music," added Mallik who recently composed music for Zara Thehro along with Armaan Malik and Tulsi Kumar.

While he has an important message that he wants his 'Amaalians' to follow which includes respecting the guidelines that the govt has posed amid Covid-19 pandemic.

He enunciated, "Keep listening to music as that is going to cause a calming effect on you. Whenever I feel lost I listen to other people's music. Also grow your repoitore. Listen to other kinds of music, especially original music. Stay connected to your family. Keep your friends and family close. Keep smiling and spreading good vibes."
