MUMBAI: In 2019, 17-year-old Rishabh Dutta became an internet sensation because of his musical talent. The teenager from Kakopathar in Assam’s Tinsukia District was diagnosed with aplastic anemia, a rare condition in which the body stops producing enough new blood cells.

Many people contributed to raise funds for Dutta’s treatment, unfortunately he passed away this Thursday in Bengaluru. His old videos resurfaced on social media as people mourned his passing and praised his talent.

Dutta was undergoing treatment first at Christian Medical College in Vellore, and later at a private hospital in Bengaluru. Friends and family of the teen regularly shared his videos where he can be seen singing soulfully in his hospital room.

Many times he was surrounded by doctors and nurses who were treating him. He wanted to be a professional singer and listening to his voice no one will doubt that he had it in him to make it.

After people got to know about his death, one of his last videos that featured him singing‘ aahha chalta hoon' from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil became viral on social media again. The songs sound beautiful and have left everyone teary-eyed.
