I'm the best version of myself when it comes to work says Ma Faiza on virtual Pride Parade

MUMBAI: Though the lockdown is gradually lifting and things seem to be getting back on track, staying safe at home and getting out only when necessary, has now become a way of life. Vh1 Pride has constantly been your companion through this lockdown, continuing to entertain you with a virtual Pride Parade.

During an exclusive interview with Radioandmusic, Ma Faiza throws light on the performance for the people. She enlightens the thoughts on some of the challenges for our community in the music industry, and how things have changed since the repealing of Section 377. She also shared some Pride experiences and her Pride playlist.

The video was uploaded on Vh1 India Instagram handle, today, 30th June 2020 at 11am.

Ma Faiza have been DJing for over two decades, and it’s been a long learning curve. She’s blessed to be able to still do what she loves and for her performances to still be so exciting and enjoyable. “I feel like I’m currently the best version of myself when it comes to work, with so many rich, valuable experiences which I have been able to bring to my music and my live performances”, added the artist.

Amid this unprecedented time in the world with the corona pandemic, it is quite hard to make future plans. Sharing the same, she said, “For most of us in the music and entertainment industry we will have to look at other ways to connect with our fans and celebrate together. For the time being I am concentrating on experimenting with new styles of music and also working on remixing some of my favourite tunes and personalising my signature sound”.

Lastly, Ma Faiza concluded, “Be you, and enjoy your uniqueness. Be kind. Trust. Be honest with yourself and the world”.
