As a multi-disciplinary artist, he would like to inculcate in the society, “With an interest in creating art that compel people to question, connect and understand the portrayal in my art pieces, I feel it's my responsibility to speak about important matters though my art and create awareness in the society”.

“My art stems from opposing the enforced heteronormality and acceptance of one's own being. I am compassionate toward the LGBTQIA and all human rights related movements along with environmental movements”, he adds.

The Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019 shows us the existing gender discrimination and is a complete disregard to a person's right to self-identification. The sanitize and heteronormalize version of the Queer community that we see in media and movies right now is a major problem in the visibility of gender nonbinary and transsexual People. Zeeshan shared, “The stigma attached to the LGBTQIA community still exists in our society and the need of regular and focused sensitization programs at schools, workplace, healthcare spaces etc would be key in overcoming inherit biased and Queer phobic mindsets”.

“Unlearn the pseudo basis of discrimination and relearn the ideal of ‘Love For All’. Love for all is not possible without understanding the marginalized fringes of the society and accepting them for who they are”, Zeeshan Ali concluded.
