MUMBAI: Bishwajit Ghosh, an Indian music artist, has a dream. He aims to elevate music, innovate and create new avatars, while introducing it in his debut single, ‘Sau Fikr’ by T-Series which released in December 2018, said to be a roaring success and gives a glimpse into what this artist has to offer. He recently came up with the song ‘Hum Ek Hai’ which was sung and composed by him, an initiative to spread peace and positivity during the lockdown, featuring popular celebrities like Juhi Chawla, Shakti Kapoor, Divya Dutta, Archana Puran Singh and many more. The song was produced by Fledge Entertainment and co-produced by Mausam Shah.
In a short span of time, Bishwajit has attracted eyeballs from both fans and labels globally. He has been signed on with Zee Music for his upcoming song which will be released by June end.
Talking about his journey in the music industry, Bishwajit Ghosh commented “My musical journey began with listening to my mother’s Bengali songs which my father would record in a little tape recorder when I was studying in St. Xavier’s School, Bhopal. Then at the age of 9, I decided to participate in an intra-school singing competition which surprisingly I won and I started getting a lot of encouragement from the teachers and the fellow schoolmates. It led me to participate in various inter-school and state-level competitions. The more I was participating the stronger my bond with music kept growing. By the age of 12, I started getting professional gigs and assignments.”
Further talking about what inspired him towards music, Ghosh commented “There are multiple factors. But primarily the response and encouragement which I used to receive from my audience during my live shows and my event organizers, made me pursue this professionally. Off course listening to all the great Indian and International singers, composers and musicians also majorly inspired me.”
This World Music Day Bishwajit ended by saying “Music is a part of everyone’s life which can change anyone’s mood. I’m excited to show how versatile an artist I am and present a variety in music for the audience.”
