MUMBAI: Indian modern metal band Within Ceres are proud to present their debut EP titled ‘Skyless’, which is scheduled to release on 20th June 2020 worldwide. The six-piece outfit from the state of Goa are making waves with their recent music teasers and are a much sought-after act since they started off in 2014. Bringing to the table some of the finest elements of modern and progressive metal, their smashing debut is full of heavy riffing, not forgetting gut-pounding drums, mean growls and memorable choruses. The cutting-edge production on this album is like no other seen in recent times.

Guitarist and producer of Odin De Sa first took the country by surprise with his debut single ‘The Firefly’ under the name Feeding in Atlantis back in 2014. The song featured Ukranian singer Mary Koblova, and later went on to winning the Rolling Stone Metal Award (India) for best new single, Critics’ choice. This brought more attention to when Odin’s songs shaped into a long-term project, a band including more members playing their own brand of music live. They are the first metal band from Goa to make it into other cities with a bigger following in the metal music genre.

‘Skyless’ EP - The Concept

Ceres is an artificial reality that exists in the future. Users enter this reality through a headset much more advanced than our current VR devices and are free to travel and exist in any reality that they wish to be in. The use of Ceres is extensive as the world has progressed in the past 60 years, shrivelling and deteriorating with time. We are talking about concrete jungles with neon sign boards everywhere. To escape this dystopian world, users like to find themselves in a place of their liking. Lost, somewhere Within Ceres.
