MUMBAI: To raise money for India’s daily wage earners affected severely during this pandemic, film composer, music producer and artist, Vipin Mishra, along with seven other independent Indian artists have virtually come together for a soulful track called ‘Bhool Gaye They Dhun’. With a strong message to evoke solidarity and spread hope, the song inspires people to help those that have no means to cope in these unprecedented times due to the threat from COVID19, by contributing to their ‘Artist4Aid’, fundraising campaign on Give India.
As Covid19 wreaks havoc in the lives of many underprivileged people in the country, artists Rajiv Sundaresan, Pavithra Chari, Yashikka Sikka (vocals), Hitesh Rikki Madan (guitars), Anindo Bose (keys), Ashok Roy (bass) and Vipin Mishra (vocals and guitars), believe that their art can feed not just the soul, but also help put food on the plates of those in need. Having recorded their bits separate from their home studios and exchanged ideas online, these seven individuals also appeal to other fellow artists to use their talents to help raise funds.
