MUMBAI: Singer and musician Dr Anamika Singh one of the prominent singers who not only holds a doctorate in the field of music but has also lent her voice for many songs in Hindi Film as well as TV industry. Recently the singer has collaborated with Zee Music Company for a song Piya Hai Padhare.

The song  Piya hai Padhare happens to be a wedding celebration. It is composed by Ajay Jaiswal and written by Rashi Maheshwari.

In a candid conversation Anamika speaks in length more about her music, and her song while describing she adds,  “This song portrays the feelings of a girl right before she ties the knot. The excitement she feels and wants to express to her to be husband is shown in this song and the title Piya Hain Padhare comes from the theme of the song as it speaks about what a girl who is about to get married thinks when her husband walks in right before the wedding. 

Sharing her shoot memories Anamika mentioned, “The entire set and star cast Sakshi Magoo and Nawab Ahmed along with the music gave a lot of memorable moments. It felt like a real wedding where we all were part of the same family enjoying each and every minute of the shoot.” 

“I remember wanting to have sung a song similar to Piya Hain Padhare which can be played when my husband walks in while I waited for him. Now that I did sing a song like this it makes me feel really happy to know that a lot of girls about to get married will be able to live that feeling,” added Anamika

Dr Namika Singh wishes to sing for a Salman Khan movie in future .
