Shekhar, Neeti's slow romantic mix on T-Series MixTape S2

MUMBAI: Shekhar Ravjiani and Neeti Mohan have crooned a slow romantic mix in the seventh episode of T-Series MixTape Season 2, powered by Amazon Prime Music. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, this episode features a mix of Kahin Toh Hogi Woh from the movie Jaane Tu Yaa Jaane Na and Aahatein from the movie Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu. Abhijit Vaghani has also joined the duo in the musical medley.

The awesome duo has given some high energy performances together in past and for this episode of T-Series Mixtape their melodious vocals blend into a soulful romantic mix. Bringing out the best from each musician on piano, percussion, guitars, the saxophone adds required feel to the song.

Speaking about the episode, Abhijit Vaghani says, “This episode is surreal. We have used alternative rock which isn’t so common in Bollywood. This track is a slow romantic one with a very laid back travel vibe to it. Because the songs of Kahin Toh Hogi Woh and Aahatein are so laid back, it was the best reprint possible and infact Mr. A. R. Rahman had also tried it in his original track.”

“This is the second episode of Season 2 that I am a part of. I am performing along with Shekhar, who I am great friends with and Abhijit Vaghani, who has done a brilliant job in putting together so many as a mashup. This track has a soulful feel to it and i am expecting Magic this time!” equips Neeti Mohan.

Shekhar Ravjini, who is excited to share screen space with Neeti comments, “I am performing with two very dear friends, Neeti Mohan and Abhijit Vaghani, who is also the music director of the season. We are performing on the songs, Kahin Toh Hogi Woh, which is composed by A.R. Rahman and Aahatein, composed by Amit Trivedi. It’s a great combination, which Abhijit has put together. This track has got a beautiful, soulful, gospel vibe to it. Neeti and I just wanted this song to go on and on, because it is a very sweet track.”

Directed by Ahmed Khan and conceptualized and developed by Shivam Chanana and Sonal Chawla, the seventh episode is out on the official YouTube channel of T-Series. The audio version is out on Amazon Prime Music.
