Mohit Chauhan sings recreated version of 'Bulla Ki Jaana'

MUMBAI: Singer Mohit Chauhan has crooned the recreated version of Baba Bulley Shah’s popular song, Bulla Ki Jaana.

On singing the revamped version of the iconic song, Mohit Chauhan exclaims, “It was great to have got the chance to sing Baba Bulley Shah's words for the song, Bulla Ki Jaana composed by Shubhodeep Singh. It's a lovely ethereal tune and has a rustic earthy feel to it. I thoroughly enjoyed singing it and am sure I would love to sing it live in concerts.”

Bulla Ki Jaana’s revamped version is a part of an upcoming film titled, Football. Based in Jammu and Kashmir, the movie showcases an aspirational story of a young boy with dreams to make it big in sports.

On his association with the film and its director, the Safar singer adds, “I happy to be a part of this film and I hope audiences will find it engaging and inspiring. This is also the first time I worked with the young and talented film director Shoib Nikash Shah. Shoib's sensibilities and sensitivity as a director shows in his work and the video shoot of my song Bulla Ki Jaana says it all.”

Baba Bulley Shah has set a benchmark of an exceptional musical creation in the form of Bulla Ki Jaana and we will have to wait to see if Mohit has managed to elevate the bar.

Meanwhile, Mohit Chauhan latest song, Safar from the 2019 Bollywood film Notebook, is a soulful tune, every traveller would hear on loop.
