MUMBAI: With what came as a huge shocker, the news about Jet Airways’ temporarily shutting down their Domestic and International operations has left ‘Jet Airways’ fans’ heartbroken. This has not just blown the aviation industry, but has deeply affected their employees and ones who enjoyed their service, including renowned Indian musicians Shaan, Salim Merchant and Mika Singh.

Jet Airways were facing crisis in terms of ‘funding’ their expenses and had asked SBI led consortium of lenders to release an interim fund to help them out. Shaan expressed his grief on the Jet Airways issue with a Tweet, “Terribly Saddened to read this ... Like I’ve lost a friend ... Come back @jetairways .. will miss you ...”

Not only Shaan but there have been singers like Mika Singh and Salim Merchant who have appreciated ‘Jet Airways experience’ earlier and now this news was a shock to them.

Hearing to the recent Jet Airways issue, Salim Merchant went onto Tweet, “I’m hoping that there is some kind of funding that comes your way to help you come back on! We have enjoyed your service & will really miss you. @jetairways.”
