'Gully Boy' fame MC Altaf belts out tune for CCFA 2019

MUMBAI: Gully Boy fame MC Altaf has created a rap song for the upcoming Critics Choice Film Awards 2019 (CCFA). The rap song shouts loud of what CCFA is all about i.e. talent, talent and only talent. The 19-year-old has sung it in Dharavi style.

The youngster had earlier shown some kick-ass rap skills in the Ranveer Singh starrer, Gully Boy. He helped Ranveer get a hang of the street lingo. He also contributed a song in the film and played a cameo role.

Film Critics Guild and Motion Content Group are all set to recognise real talent with the first-ever Critics Choice Film Awards, making it the only title after the prestigious National Film awards to award filmmaking in eight major languages.

Today, the maverick rapper has opened up a world of opportunities for himself by hustling his way into the evolving music scene in India, and therefore it is only fitting that he gets a chance to rap about the country’s first awards that is focused on celebrating and recognising talent!
