Lost StoriesÆ new single æMahiÆ to release on KSHMRÆs label DHARMA

MUMBAI: India’s first DJ duo to headline Tomorrowland, Lost Stories is all set to release their new single, Mahi for which they have collaborated with Iktara fame singer Kavita Seth. Lost Stories comprises of famous DJs Rishab Joshi and Prayag Mehta

It is learnt that the foreseen track will be a bold amalgamation of Sufi and EDM with the traditional essence kept intact while also combining dance music and the eastern musical flavour, thus creating a heavenly fusion.

Speaking about the song the DJ duo says, “Mahi is a special track and one of our biggest releases till date. The track is very close to the signature sound that we envisioned 10 years ago when we started off as DJs”.

As Baba Bulleh Shah says, the song is a traditional number for which Kavita, who is known for exploring different genres, has lent her melodious voice. Speaking about the song, the Sufi singer says, “Mahi is one of the most precious songs of my career. In sync with the new trends in music, the track does full justice to my roots in Sufi music. Lost Stories have brilliantly produced and my son Kanishk has done a fantastic job of composing it.”

Lost Stories are very popular in India’s EDM music circuit. Boasting of a decade long career, the duo has also represented India at top international music fests apart from Tomorrowland. Lost Stories had earlier shared a glimpse of Mahi at the recently held Sunburn Festival in Pune in Feb when KSHMR had invited them on the stage for debuting the song live with him.

Meanwhile, Mahi is slated to be released and distributed via record label, Dharma Worldwide, which the brainchild of world famous electro house DJ, KSHMR.
