International Women#039s Day Special: Annie Lennox and The Circle partner with Apple Music for short film

MUMBAI: Annie Lennox, who is an internationally acclaimed singer, songwriter, Human Rights activist and a performer has partnered with Apple Music for a short film on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Through her NGO, The Circle, the film that talks about various issues women face like domestic violence, worklife issues, rape, misogyny, sexual abuse, harassment etc. It is released in support of Global Feminism.

This exclusive video, which is narrated by Lennox features globally renowned faces like Dua Lipa, Annie Lennox, Frank Carter, Ed Sheeran, Nadine, Beverley Knight, Simon Neil (Biffy Clyro), Richa Chadda, Ade Adepitan, Livia Firth, Farhan, Gwendoline Christie, Shah, Eve Ensler, Mary J Blige, Richard E Grant, Emeli Sande, Frank Turner, Eddie Izzard, Skin (Skunk Anansie),  Yola, Hozier  and Nina Nesbit.

Speaking to a leading international portal, Lennox said, “My interest is this term global feminism means that everybody can be a part of it. It isn't saying, ‘I'm a feminist, it's different than your feminism.' No. It's all part of a very mixed, diverse dialogue that will bring many people together.”
