MUMBAI: The Dual Core band, who recently  performed at The Worli Festival 5.0, spoke to Radioandmusic about their upcoming projects, where they mentioned about coming up with new original songs.

Talking about original songs the band said, “It’s extremely sad to see such a massive Bollywood and major India losing out on the original compositions. Obviously, the South Industry is way ahead of us in music and production value in music. But, Bollywood has to get back to their golden days when
original compositions were made and get back to independent music rather than just remaking, which is already been done. This is a very sad way of making music again."

On being asked, how beneficial festivals like Worli Festival 5.0 are, one of The Dual Core band member Ameya Naik said, “Our country is pretty Bollywood centric and people always want Bollywood music to be heard. I think these festivals and all organisers should open up new venues as well as be open to original music in India.”

The band would have many new songs coming on-board, “These are going to be songs with various genres. We are mixing languages and not just Hindi and English. In India, mashup means mixing Hindi and English songs, but here we are mixing foreign languages into our Hindi and making it a true fusion track and rest is going to be a suspense,” said The Dual Core.
