Austrian prog-rock powerhouse, Mother's Cake to perform in India next month

MUMBAI: Mother’s Cake, an Austrian rock band would be performing in India. This tour is being presented by Mumbai based music management company Mixtape who has been actively working with international talent who want to develop a market for themselves in India.

Their first performance would be held in Bangalore at The Humming Tree before travelling to SulaFest for their second and final stop.

Mother’s Cake is one of Austria’s hottest rock exports who’ve been making waves since 2008. Their addictive mix of funk, hard rock and progressive/psychedelic music have seen them support artists like Alice In Chains, The Stooges, Limp Bizkit, Deftones and plenty more.

Mother’s Cake’ releases have been creating a stir amongst audiences across the globe starting with their first single ‘Soul Prison’ which gathered over 350K views on YouTube since their debut album.

Creation’s Finest that ensured their firm stand in the business, the band has developed into a phenomenal live act and has even drawn comparisons to the likes of The Mars Volta, Jane’s Addiction and Led Zeppelin. Having toured more than 20 countries, the trio is making their way to India for the very first time this February.
