MUMBAI: Known for getting entangled in controversies, singer Sona Mohapatra has once again raised eyebrows. The singer, who joined the crew of popular music reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, is reportedly not a part of the show anymore.
Confirming the same, Sona’s manager told, “Yes, it is true, she won’t be a part of the show due to some prior commitments.”
The singer was not available for any comments. “She is currently on a road trip, where there is no network available,” further said the Tori Surat singer’s manager.
Besides, it is also learnt that singer Richa Sharma has replaced Mohapatra on the iconic show, which turned 23 this year. She will be co-judging the show along with Bollywood music composers Shekhar Ravjiani and Wajid Khan.
Meanwhile, the makers and team of Zee TV has refrained from commenting on the scenario. We will therefore have to wait until we get further insights on this shocking news.
Sona Mohapatra had created history by becoming the first female judge of Sa Re Ga Ma in 23 years. Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, which premiered on 13 October 2018, is aired every Saturday-Sunday at 8 pm only on Zee TV.
