We have spent months on preparing for India tourÆ18: Bryan Adams

MUMBAI: Legendary Canadian singer-songwriter Bryan Adams will light up home grown arenas on a five-day greatest hits India tour in October 2018 for his nineteenth concert tour. The gigs are lined up in support of the music veteran’s current 21 track compilation, Ultimate that released in November last year. The crowd is extremely excited and awaits his performance in India this year.

On being asked about his excitement to perform this year, Bryan says, “It’s always an adventure, when I’ve been here. On my first trip to India, there were no cars to collect us, so Keith my guitarist and I got in a taxi from the airport. The suspension was broken in the car, so we leaned over the seat to watch, where we were going. Along the way we had to stop because an elephant had gone to sleep in the middle of the road. That story would not happen anywhere else in the world, welcome to India.”

The tour kicks off on with Ahmedabad and wraps up in nation’s capital, New Delhi. Also, included on the jaunt are festival stops in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore.

Furthermore, talking about his performance he gave a gist, “We have a great show in store, our best work. We have spent months preparing this tour; it’s a long way from our first tour of India, where the light switches were large levers beside the stage.”

The musician has performed in India a couple of times. When asked about his journey and experience here so far, Bryan Adams elaborates, “It’s always an adventure when I’ve been there.  This will be our fifth tour to India, I’m not sure many artists have done that from the west. I’ve been trying to get back to India for many years, I’m grateful to the promoters, who are bringing us here.”

The Ultimate Tour will see the multi-million selling recording perform material from the fourteenth studio album that features a mix of new tracks and enormous hits from an incredible back-catalog.

The aim of Ultimate was to condense Bryan Adams’ extensive back catalog 13 studio albums, five live albums, five compilation albums and over 75 singles into a 21 track offering guaranteed to capture the true essence of the celebrated hitmaker’s much celebrated career.

The 58-year-old who enjoys the reputation of being able to sell out arena bowls will entertain the audience with universal hits like hits Run To You, Can’t Stop This Thing We Started, Summer of ’69, Cuts Like A Knife, Heaven,  When You’re Gone, Cloud Number Nine, Everything I Do I Do It For You and a lot more.

Lastly Bryan Adams reveals that he has an album releasing in 2019. Also he has a message for his fans, “If you’re a budding musician, budding musicians, get into music because you love music, not to become famous. If your dream is fame, you have set yourself up to be disappointed.
