MUMBAI: Multi-talented Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra is all set to step into the world of radio with her debut. The lady, who has spread her wings to the big screen, television and digital space, will now lend her voice to the character of Draupadi, from the mythological tale, Mahabharata.

Speaking about her big radio debut, Shilpa says, "As kids, BR Chopra’s Mahabharat was the only show, we were allowed to watch on TV. Draupadi is a beautifully etched, iconic character. And, since I have always been spiritually inclined, I am happy to lend my voice to her while exploring a new medium.”

"I listen to the radio a lot when I am on the road and so must many others in the homes. This show will reach out to all of them,” adds Shilpa.

Meanwhile, Shilpa Shetty Kundra has always been a trendsetter, be it in fitness or famous win in the UK’s reality show, Big Brother in the UK.  An author of a bestseller, she was also among the first celebrities to judge reality television.

With her debut, it will great to see Shilpa creating waves in the radio world.
