Whatt! Anu Malik just did something, he has never done in last 10 seasons of 'Indian Idol'

MUMBAI: In the upcoming episode of Indian Idol 10, Salman Ali rendered everyone speechless as he sang Bawre. And on his performance, Bollywood music composer and one of the judges, Anu Malik was so impressed with the young singer that he couldn’t stop, himself, from praising him. He also gave him a standing ovation as he stood upon the judge’s table. This is a unique feat, he has never done in the last ten seasons of Indian Idol.

Besides, singer and judge, Neha Kakkar also showered her blessings on the singer, while the special guest, Bhojpuri superstar, Manoj Tiwari remarked that he was transported to Rajasthan as he listened to Salman’s song.

On being contacted, Anu Malik confirmed, “I was blown away with Salman’s singing. Every season, we find remarkable talent for Indian Idol, but in this season, all of us, including Neha Kakkar and Vishal Dadlani, are in total awe of the contestants.”

“At such a young age, Salman shows a lot of promise with his incomparable singing. For the first time in the last ten seasons of Indian Idol, I stood on the judge’s table to give a standing ovation to a contestant. This is what Indian Idol is all about and I would like to call him Salman Ali ‘Sir’,” he added.

Salman Ali, the melodious singer from Haryana who has been awarded performer of the week twice on Indian Idol 10 has his eyes set on the grand prize of Indian Idol 10 title.
