Popular hip-hop trio goes desi for 'Mummy Kasam'

MUMBAI: While we still haven’t got over the high voltage energy of High Rated Gabru from the upcoming Bollywood movie, Nawabzaade, the makers have released another exuberant song, Mummy Kasam.

Watch the song here:

The lively number features the film’s lead cast Dharmesh Yelande, Raghav Juyal and Punit J Pathak, matching steps with the catchy lyrics. They are seen wooing popular TV actress Sanjeeda Shaikh in the song as they groove to the desi beat.

Sung and composed by Gurinder Seagal, Kunal Verma binds you with his splashy lyrics. Singer Payal Dev has accompanied Verma, aptly, on the vocals. Rapper Ikka’s rap has added to the drama in this number choreographed by Jayesh Pradhan, who is also the director of the movie.

Jayesh Pradhan informs about the song, “All the three boys in the film are fantastic dancers. People have seen the boys indulge in dance forms such as hip hop, popping and locking. With this song you get to see them explore the typical Bollywood masala style of dancing. The song has turned out quite good. I am positive it will be liked by people.”

The song set in a rural North Indian setting has already garnered over four lakh and fifty thousand million views on YouTube.

Nawabzaade is a romantic comedy about three male friends. The film produced by Lizelle D’souza and Mayur K Barot is set to release on 27 July.
